It’s February 1982, the sawmill is still closed for the winter, and I want to take vacation from Louie and Bruce. My wife and I celebrate my 25th birthday on a cold day out, and I pine for springtime so I can get back into my softball uniform and take to the ballfields again. But I can’t stop the jokes forming in my mind and interfering with my warm weather dreams, so I compose two winter 3-panel comic strips featuring Louie’s twin brother Leroy.

Thanks for joining me for another look at my Louie and Bruce comic strips from the 1980s.
Peace and love, everybody.

Snapping fingers to change the weather would be a great power to have, lol.

Yes! I was likely dealing with the winter blues when I created the “make winter summer” strip.
