It was a busy month at Steve Campbell Creations. Two books in various stages of finalization are books 4 and 5 of the Ridgewood Chronicles for release at Amazon in ebook and paperback.
Book 4
Kismet is a reprint (with additions) of one of the first novellas/novelettes I wrote and self-published in 2003. It became an ebook at Amazon ten years later and was remarkably successful with over 500 downloads.
Slated for a December release, all editing is going well, though I have yet to choose a cover. Four are in the final running.
Book 5
Another Vree Erickson book is in progress for a 2027 spring release (knock on wood, fingers crossed). As the art show coordinator for my art group Corry Artists’ Guild, I’ll be busy planning and setting up our spring show.
Vree is between receiving her Luminary witch powers, and she’s on the fence about it. Bottom line: Would she rather remain mortal and concentrate on being an artist? Or would she want to be a healer witch and work for the mysterious and problematic Council of Witchcraft and Magic?
Art
September was a month to unwind after a busy June, July, and August of the fundraising event, Create For Change. So, I doodled some cartoon characters and drew the following, all of them wearing sweaters because our early chilly nights have us bundled in sweaters already. Autumn is a big deal here, especially Halloween, and my wife and I have been busy getting the house ready for fall.
Conclusion
I have a lot of projects on my plate, but I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t. So, until AI takes over the art and publishing industries, I’ll keep making art and publishing my books.
Thank you for joining me. I appreciate all my followers and look forward to hearing from you.
As always, peace and love to all.
