It’s March 1982 and winter is going full blast with no end in sight for the boys and me. Bowling season ended last month, so the boys hang out at the gym and shoot hoops.
My wife and I consider moving closer to her job as soon as Old Man Winter gives us a break. If so, I may have to leave the sawmill for a different job.
Meanwhile, I witness an event at the gym that puts a smile on my face, so I keep it in mind when I draw my Louie and Bruce strip for the month.
Bruce never considered himself short, but being on the basketball court makes him wonder if the god of height passed him over.
Plus, why is it that nearly every time it’s our turn to use the court, the balls need inflated?

Thanks for joining me for a peek into Bruce’s life … based on a true event. I hope you got a kick out of seeing the old fashions of dress from 1982, especially knee-high socks and gym shorts that ended eight inches above your knees.
Until my next post, peace and love to all my readers.
